ULTRASOUND
Island Ultrasound is well established in the Bailiwick of Guernsey having opened our doors in February 2017. It’s our mission to provide a professional ultrasound service in a friendly atmosphere out of town.
Our clinic is situated on Bailiffs Cross Road, St. Andrews and there is parking available. We are on bus route 61.
We offer a relaxed scan experience using brand new up to date state of the art Canon ultrasound equipment to produce amazing scan results, including 3D and 4D images. We offer a range of medical and pregnancy related examinations.
You do not need a referral from your GP for our services, although we will keep your GP fully informed of your results, with your consent.
THE SONOGRAPHER
Matt is the Lead Sonographer here at Island Ultrasound. He was previously a long serving member of the radiology services operating from the Princess Elizabeth Hospital (PEH) and until Covid a key member of the team working for the NHS in Worthing
Matt is originally from Worcestershire. He graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2001 as a Radiographer and started working in Ealing, West London. It is here he found a passion for ultrasound.
This led him to undertaking a Post graduate Diploma in Ultrasound in 2005 from Leeds University. Since then, Matt has worked as a sonographer at the PEH in Guernsey and Worthing NHS trust
Matt spends his time scanning between Island Ultrasound and Island health town surgery.
Matt is currently a member of the Society of Radiographers, British Medical Ultrasound Society and is registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the registered health professional's ordinance 2006 (Guernsey).
